Caratteristiche morfologiche

Cappello: 5-10 cm, piano o depresso, giallo coperto da squamette aderenti viola-lilacine, a margine ricurvo.
Lamelle: imenio con venature rilevate, simili a lamelle, anastomizzate, ramificate, decorrenti.
Gambo: 3-4 x 2-3 cm, conico, ingrossato verso l’alto.
Carne: bianca poi giallognola, con odore e sapore fruttato.
Spore: bianche.

Commestibilità, habitat e osservazioni

Relazione con l’ambiente vegetale circostante: fungo simbionte.
Cresce nei boschi di faggio, specialmente misti con abeti rossi, in autunno. Non molto comune.
Ottimo commestibile.
